February Currently

My Favorite Linky is Farley's Currently!  Since I've started blogging I haven't missed any!

If you have never seen or heard of this link up (do you live under a rock?) go check it out!

Here is my Currently for February!

Have you ever watched PSYCH?  This is such a great show - I love crime shows (CSI, NCIS, Bones, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs etc). What sets PSYCH apart?  It's funny and ridiculous! I've watched it through more than once so I really don't even need to pay attention anymore!

Baby Hykin is 27 weeks now and very active!  Hubs loves to feel Peanut move around too!  I've been able to get it on video a couple of times, but Peanut is shy and most times I try he/she stops moving!

I really should be working on lesson plans and materials.  But I've been working on a 5 year journal instead.  I'll get to it eventually.  Hubs has a test to study for - I'll do it then!

According to the Snow Day Calculator I have a 99% chance of a snow day tomorrow!  My thought is that if I am completely ready for school on Monday I will definitely be cancelled.  So all plans need to be done, outfit picked out and lunch made.  Then I'll wear my PJs inside out, I'll put some ice cubes in the toilet (anyone know the proper number?) and I'll put a pencil in the freezer (a mechanical one works right?  does it need to be a traditional pencil? I want to do this right!)

I suppose this isn't quite true - I am completely motivated to sit on the couch and work on unnecessary things.  However I am not motivated to do the work that needs to get done!

Pageant Title
I love to craft (all kinds of crafts!) so a friend at school actually gave me the nickname "Oh Crafty One".  Crafting would probably also be my pageant talent!

Ok your turn - Go do your own Currently, and then comment on as many as you can!
(If you don't have your own blog then just comment!)

  1. I am SO envious of your snow day. I want a day off lol. I, too, should be working on lesson plans and all of that but.... eh..... ;) I hope you have your snow day and enjoy it! Congratulations to you and your husband on your peanut :)
    Mrs. Thomas's Class

    1. Cassie - Thanks! I still have to wait until the morning for an official announcement, but the city schools in my area have already delayed, so I'm hopeful - especially since I haven't gotten everything done I wanted to! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I'm in Chicago in a blizzard and crossing my fingers for a snow day tomorrow too! I'm going to check out that calculator right now! Thanks for sharing!
    BigTime Literacy

    1. Michelle - I check the calculator pretty much every night, even when there is no chance of a snow day! Thanks for stopping by! - Michelle

  3. I adore your blog and am so happy I found you through Farley! That's my favorite part of doing Currently! We have a bilingual program building in my district, and it will come to my grade level (third) next year. I can't wait to read more about your classroom happenings! Congrats on your little one!!!
    Short and Sassy Teacher

    1. Erin - Thanks! I love finding new blogs too! We don't have any bilingual programs in our district - not quite enough kids in one language group! However our ESL program is definitely growing. Thanks for stopping by! Michelle
